Hampton City Schools in Hampton, Virginia, is preparing students for college, career, and life through a dynamic Career and Technical Education (CTE) program that blends academic rigor with real-world application. Supported by the iCEV curriculum, students gain technical skills, workplace readiness, and hands-on experience aligned with high-demand industries such as cybersecurity, healthcare, logistics, and maritime trades and defense. The Hampton City Schools district includes four comprehensive high schools that have 16 career academies and 44 career pathways with strong industry partnerships, which ensure students actively explore their interests through project- and work-based learning.
