Preparing Tomorrow’s Workforce in the School District of Manatee County

The School District of Manatee County is building a future-ready workforce through industry certifications, nationally recognized career academies, and strong workforce partnerships. Across its high schools, students explore fields ranging from engineering and healthcare to business, digital media, and public service, connecting academic learning with real-world application and graduating with both skills and direction.

In the 2024–2025 school year alone, students earned more than 3,200 industry certifications with an 82% pass rate, reflecting the rigor and impact of the district’s CTE programs. Through partnerships with regional colleges and workforce leaders—including Manatee Technical College—students gain college credit, hands-on experience, and clear pathways into high-demand careers. The result is a seamless bridge from classroom to career, where student success fuels continued innovation and opportunity.
