Elanco Launches Veterinary Medical Applications Certification 

LUBBOCK, Texas (Jan. 21, 2016) ­- As science continues to shape the world we live in today, the need for educational resources and high-demand skills is essential to provide a foundational knowledge for students to succeed. To prepare the next generation of animal health professionals, iCEV announced the launch of the Elanco Veterinary Medical Applications Certification, further expanding opportunities and experiences in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The certification is the second certification endorsed by Elanco and delivered through iCEV, an online platform that produces and delivers comprehensive education content.

The Elanco Veterinary Medical Applications Certification verifies the competencies needed to achieve employability within the veterinary science field and is transferrable to health and animal science fields. Those who earn the certification are more qualified and prepared to enter a variety of roles within the agriculture and health industries. 

iCEV also offers optional study material to help individuals prepare for the certification exam. More than 20 lessons are available via the online curriculum, including Veterinary Medical Terms & Terminology, Animals & Society, Veterinary Laws & Ethics, Common Veterinary Medical Equipment, Veterinary Medical Practices, various animal anatomy lessons and much more.
