Elanco Hosts Industry Certification on iCEV

LUBBOCK, Texas (Oct. 28, 2015) – With an increasing focus on Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, industry collaborations are vital opportunities that offer insight into the training students need to be better prepared for their academic coursework and future career paths. To further expand students’ opportunities, iCEV is partnering with Elanco to offer the Elanco Fundamentals of Animal Science Certification. Elanco becomes the latest on a distinguished roster of industry leaders to host its certification on the iCEV testing platform. 

The Elanco Fundamentals of Animal Science Certification verifies individuals have acquired the foundational knowledge and skills to pursue a career within the animal science industry. To earn the certification, individuals must possess an in-depth understanding of key concepts, such as general animal science, animal breeding, animal health and wellness, animal nutrition, and animal management practices.

Through iCEV, middle and high school students enhance their career training with certifications from industry partners like Elanco. Students can prepare to earn the certification by completing optional study material offered by iCEV and based on Elanco's industry expertise.
