iCEV Sponsors PBS Broadcasts of “Multiple Choice” to Elevate the National Conversation About Career and Technical Education
Sponsorship will bring a national spotlight to what strong CTE can look like and why every student needs access.
iCEV, a leading provider of Career and Technical Education solutions, is proud to sponsor the PBS broadcasts of “Multiple Choice,” a documentary that shows how Career and Technical Education can create powerful, meaningful learning experiences for students. Set in Winchester, Virginia, the film takes viewers inside the Emil & Grace Shihadeh Innovation Center, where more than 90 percent of the district’s students participate in Career and Technical Education, exploring diverse pathways, collaborating with peers, and building traditional and emerging workforce skills.
For iCEV, the film creates an important opportunity to broaden the national conversation around Career and Technical Education and the role it can play in every student's educational experience.
“Every student deserves access to learning that helps them understand how what they are doing in school connects to their future,” said iCEV CEO Dusty Moore. “This film provides a powerful starting point for conversations about how schools can prepare every learner for life after graduation. We are proud to help bring that conversation to audiences across the country.”
High-quality CTE gives students the opportunity to explore careers, build technical and professional skills, connect classroom learning to real world applications and gain greater clarity about what comes next after high school. It also gives schools a powerful way to make learning more relevant while strengthening connections between education, industry and community.
Multiple Choice is now airing on PBS stations across the country. Broadcast times vary by market. Find your local PBS station and schedule at pbs.org/stations, or stream the film anytime for free on the PBS app at pbs.org/pbs-app.
Beyond the PBS broadcasts, schools, districts, and community organizations can host local screenings of “Multiple Choice” and use the film to begin conversations about career pathways, student engagement and the future of education.
