1982
Frustrated by the lack of quality training materials, Texas Tech Meat Science professor and meat judging team coach, Gordon W. Davis, began filming carcass classes to better train his judging team.
1984
Seeing the value that the videos he was creating could offer in teaching students on a larger scale, Gordon W. Davis officially founded Creative Educational Video and began producing videos on Agricultural Science.
1992
Began producing Family & Consumer Sciences content.
1998
Company name changed to CEV Multimedia, Inc. to reflect a comprehensive approach to CTE.
2001
Transitioned product offering to a course structure and began submitting to state textbook adoptions. Began producing Career Exploration content.
2008
Began producing Business, Marketing, Finance, IT & Media content. VHS tapes were phased out and DVDs were the main focus in providing curriculum content.
2012
Launched iCEV Online Curriculum platform.
2014
Launched iCEV Certification Testing platform.
2016
Began producing Architecture, Construction, Transportation & Manufacturing content.
2017
Began producing Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security and Health Science content.
2021
Began producing STEM content.
2021
iCEV Forms Strategic Partnership with The Riverside Company to Expand CTE Curriculum & Certification Solutions.
2022
iCEV acquired Applied Educational Systems (AES), expanding its digital offerings in Health Sciences, Business Education, Computer Applications, and Career Readiness.
2022
Began producing Middle School Digital Literacy & Career Exploration content.
2022
iCEV acquired the K-12 and post-secondary segment of Today’s Class, adding Automotive and Cosmetology content while expanding Health Science and Agricultural Science offerings.

Added Cosmetology & Barbering and Transportation: Automotive, Diesel & Small Engines content.
2023
iCEV acquired Eduthings, enhancing its CTE offerings with automated data management and analysis tools that support administrators in tracking program effectiveness, managing certifications, and providing evidence for federal and state funding reports.
