Student Testing Information
iCEV is proud to serve as a sponsor of SkillsUSA and a provider of on-site industry certification testing on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 8:00 AM – 12:15 PM. Testing is free for the first 100 students on a first-come, first-served basis. Once those 100 seats are filled, additional students may purchase the exam for $35 per student. The average test time is 60–90 minutes, with a maximum allowed testing time of 2 hours.
Please note: Students must bring their own device for testing, preferably a laptop with Google Chrome installed.
This exam is free of charge for qualifying students; however, if you are preparing to sit for the Southwest Airlines Professional Communications Certification exam at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference, we offer the following discounted pricing for certification preparation materials for non-iCEV subscribers:
- $35 for an individual student to enroll in the Southwest Airlines Professional Communications Certification preparation course for one year (credit card required).
- $750 for a classroom bundle of 25 students + 1 teacher login for the Southwest Airlines Professional Communications Certification preparation course for one year.
Teacher Testing Information
Teachers are eligible to test for and earn the Southwest Airlines Professional Communications Certification free of charge at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference.
To best support educators, iCEV offers two options:
- Free Advanced Registration:
Teachers who register in advance will receive a student login before the event, providing access to the preparation course, study materials, and practice tests. - Free On-Site Testing Without Preparation:
Teachers are also welcome to test on-site, even if they choose not to review study content in advance.
iCEV is proud to support educators by ensuring full, no-cost access to certification testing at SkillsUSA NLSC.
Each lesson in these courses includes a video or PowerPoint covering the core content. Additionally, users have access to guided notes, vocabulary handouts, activities and assessments to aid in learning the material.
