Using the Google Translate Extension in Chrome

1. Search for Google Translate in the Chrome Web Store

• Go to the Chrome Web Store
• In the search bar, type Google Translate

2. Add the Extension to Chrome

• Click on Google Translate in the search results
• Click Add to Chrome
• In the pop-up window, click Add Extension

3. Pin the Extension to Your Toolbar

• Click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in the top right corner of your browser
• Find Google Translate in the list and click the pin icon to keep it visible in your toolbar

4. Use the Extension on a Webpage

• When on a webpage you want to translate, click the Google Translate icon in your toolbar
• Click Translate this page — a bar will appear at the top of your screen

5. Select a Language and Translate

• Click the dropdown arrow next to the current language
• Choose your preferred language
• Click Translate — the page will refresh and display in the selected language
