What Is Certification Readiness?
Certification Readiness provides a structured view of how a student’s performance aligns with common success patterns seen in certification candidates. It’s important to note: Certification Readiness is a monitoring tool. It does not represent a score and does not guarantee a passing certification exam result.
Readiness Groups
Each student is placed into one of three readiness groups based on how they perform across several benchmark areas. These groups give you a quick and meaningful way to understand who is excelling, who may need watching, and who requires more support.
On Track
Students in the On Track group meet the highest readiness level in all benchmark areas. These students are consistently demonstrating strong preparation.
Monitor
Students in the Monitor group show moderate readiness in at least one benchmark, and none of their benchmarks fall into the low readiness range. They may need additional reinforcement in specific areas.
Needs Attention
Students placed in Needs Attention are showing low readiness in one or more benchmark areas. These students will benefit most from targeted intervention and support.
Class Overview: Readiness Group Cards
These group cards summarize overall class performance. Each card displays the number of students in that group, your total class count, and the readiness criteria used for that group. These cards make it easy to quickly scan how your entire class is progressing.
Readiness Benchmarks
Certification Readiness evaluates student performance across four key benchmark areas.
Lesson Completion
The first benchmark is Lesson Completion, which shows how consistently students finish instructional content.
Assignment Completion
Next, Assignment Completion tracks participation and follow‑through on assigned work.
Final Assessment Average
Then the Final Assessment Average shows mastery across end of lesson assessments.
Practice Exam Results
And finally, Practice Exam Results gives insight into a student’s preparedness for the certification exam.
Benchmark Logic
Each benchmark is evaluated independently. A student’s overall readiness is determined by the lowest readiness level across all benchmarks. This ensures that critical gaps are not overlooked.
Where Certification Readiness Is Available
Certification Readiness is available for certification-aligned courses, allowing teachers to access readiness data for the students enrolled in their classes. The Certification Readiness tool updates automatically as students complete lessons, submit assignments, take final assessments, and finish practice exams. There’s nothing you need to refresh, your readiness data always stays up‑to‑date.
