Translating Interactive Assignments Into Different Languages

1. View Interactive Assignment
- From the lesson page, scroll down and click on the 'Interactive Assignments' drop down to reveal the interactive assignments available for the current lesson.
- Open an interactive assignment by clicking the title of an exercise or assessment.

2. Translating the Assignment
- On the interactive assignment page, click on the 'Select Language' dropdown to reveal all the languages that the assignment can be translated to.
- For this tutorial, we'll opt for 'Spanish' as our language of choice.

Translation Issue Fix

After translating an interactive assignment to a different language, this new language setting will try to automatically apply to all subsequent interactive assignments you access.
- Should you encounter a hiccup where the assignment text isn't fully translated, fear not. Simply hit the 'Show original' button located on the translation toolbar at the top of your screen.
- This will reset any translation modifications back to English. Following that, press the 'Translate' button once more to seamlessly switch the full assignment to your preferred language.
The full interactive assignment is now translated to Spanish.
3. Highlighted Text-to-Voice Speech
- Once your interactive assignment has been translated into your chosen language, you can activate the text-to-speech feature simply by highlighting any portion of text within the assignment area. This function brings the words to life, audibly enhancing the learning experience.

4. Translated Answer Keys
- After converting an interactive assignment into the language of your choice, the answer keys will also be translated.
- To view the translated answer key, click on the 'View Answer Key' button highlighted above.

5. Printing Translated Answer Keys
- To print the translated answer key, click on the 'PRINT' button highlighted above.
- A dialogue box will pop up showing options to print the answer key. If everything looks correct, print the answer key by clicking the 'Print' button.
6. Printing Translated Assignments Without Answers Displayed
- To view the assignment questions without the answers displayed, click on the 'HIDE ANSWERS' button highlighted above.

- To print the translated assignment with the answers hidden from view, click on the 'PRINT' button highlighted above.
- A dialogue box will pop up showing options to print the assignment. If everything looks correct, print the assignment questions by clicking the 'Print' button.
NOTE: In the event that any translated materials seem to be only partially translated, please refer back to the 'Translation Issue Fix' section of this tutorial.
