Getting Your Students Certified Using LMS (LTI) Integration
NOTE: Students with LTI accounts no longer need to manually create iCEV accounts for certification tests. They can use their LTI-generated iCEV accounts.
Follow these steps:
- Login and Roster Management
- Log in to iCEV, visit your certification course, and click “Manage Roster”.
- Log in to iCEV, visit your certification course, and click “Manage Roster”.
- Reset Password
- Click on the “Reset Password” link for each student LTI account. Set the password to something memorable and note it down.

- Provide Credentials
- Provide your students with their LTI username and the newly created password.
- Student Login
- Have your students visit “login.icevonline.com” and enter the credentials you provided.

- Certification Exam
- Instruct your students to click on the certification course and proceed to the certification exam as usual.

Important
If a student manually created a username at the beginning of the year for the pre-test, they must use the same username at the end of the year for the post-test to display their growth on certification reports.
- The LTI username cannot be edited, but we can assist with this if needed.
- Merging LTI usernames with manually created usernames is not possible.
