Before Students Begin a Certification Exam

Before students begin the final certification exam, verify all students' names are spelled correctly and are properly capitalized. This simple step saves time by ensuring you receive certifications with the correct information and avoid the need to request reprints.

Verify students' names by clicking the "Roster Management" link located at the bottom of your "My Courses" page.

Below is an example of names spelled correctly and capitalized properly. The red arrows indicate the incorrect way to have students listed in your roster.

Please have all students who have entered their names incorrectly log in to their iCEV account and update their name by clicking the "My Profile" link at the top right of the "My Courses" page.

Receiving Certifications

Every Monday, we will print all certifications completed from the previous week. Certifications will be mailed to the teacher at the school address on file.

Need a copy right away? 
No problem! You can download and print individual certifications from within your iCEV account.

Choose the desired certification from the drop-down menu and click "View Report."

Click the blue certification download button next to the desired student's name.

Wall Mount Display

Each year, any organization which has 10 or more students earn certifications will receive a certification wall display in recognition of their accomplishment. All students who earn a certification during the course of the current school year will be included on the display.

What to Expect

Certification displays will not be built until after July 31st to avoid interference with testing. You must approve the artwork before we can move forward with production. Your local consultant will be copied on all emails and will schedule a time to drop off the wall mount once it is finished.

Approval Email

iCEV will send you a proof to review. When reviewing, please confirm that all individuals who earned a certification are included, all individuals and instructor names are spelled correctly and that your organization's name is correct. Be sure to check your school email regularly to avoid missing the approval email. Once approved, changes cannot be made to the display.

After Approval

iCEV will send the artwork to be printed. Once printed, your local curriculum consultant will be in touch to schedule a time to drop off your display. Be sure to check your email regularly.

Spread the Word

At the end of each month, iCEV will build a custom press release for every school with at least one student who earned a certification, so keep an eye on your inbox! 

We encourage you to complete and share the press release template with your local media, newspaper or public relations department to recognize the distinguished achievements of your students.

Certification Wall Mount FAQ

What is a certification wall mount? Since 2016, iCEV has awarded schools with 10 or more earned certifications a congratulatory sign to recognize all students who completed a certification on iCEV and the teachers who tested.
How do I get a certification wall mount? Your school would need to have at least 10 students certified within the school year. School years are counted from August 1 - July 31.
Can one school receive multiple wall mounts? Due to the overwhelming amount of certification wall mounts being earned, iCEV will only provide one wall mount per district. If you would like to order your own, we can provide an "Ordering How-To Guide
What if there are multiple schools in my district? Multiple schools in a district can receive a certification wall mount. Certification reports are calculated and sorted by teacher.
For example: High School A in School District One certifies 12 students and High School B in the same district certifies 10 students. In this example, both organizations will receive a wall mount for their school.
How much do certification wall mounts cost? Since these are congratulatory signs awarded by iCEV, there is no cost to the organization or teacher.
How does the process work?
  1. After the school year ends on July 31, iCEV will pull data on which schools have earned 10 or more certifications.
  2. iCEV will build the artwork and include all student names, teacher names and name of certification earned.
  3. A member of the iCEV Marketing team will reach out to all teachers for approval on the whole sign. If there are multiple teachers, each teacher will need to approve to move forward with production.
  4. After the approval process, the artwork will be printed.
  5. Once printed, the wall mount will either be shipped to the local iCEV representative to deliver or, if there is no team member in your area, your wall mount will be shipped directly to the school. Someone from the marketing team or your iCEV sales rep will be in touch to schedule deliveries.
What size are the certification wall mounts? The size of the wall mount you receive is based on number of students certified and how many different certifications were earned. Sizes range from 18x24 inches to 36x60 inches.
What material are the signs made from? The certification wall mounts are aluminum.
Who will I receive communication from?

Approval emails and delivery emails will come from marketing@icevonline.com, chelsea.bermea@icevonline.com or your local iCEV sales rep with an email domain of @icevonline.com. You can also reach out to any of these emails if you have additional questions.

Be sure to add @icevonline.com as an approved sender in your inbox so the emails do not go to your spam folder.
How long does the ordering process take? The process time will depend on how quickly all teachers approve the artwork, production time, shipping and delivering. Based on past years, deliveries are made September-November. iCEV cannot guarantee wall mounts on specific dates.
