About the Certification

The Fundamentals of Animal Science Certification endorsed by Elanco provides students with a solid understanding of animal science, including the history and practices of the livestock industry, external and internal anatomy of various livestock species and livestock management practices.

In addition, the certification addresses major topics in the animal science industry, including breeding, reproductive technologies, nutrition, parasites and diseases, and immunizations. The certification consists of 18 modules and a 100-question final certification exam.
