Mathematics in the Workplace
Students will learn how math is used by various professionals in each of their career clusters. Additionally, basic math concepts such as fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios and formulas are also explained. Connect mathematics to real-world scenarios using the Real-Life Math Activity.
Environmental Resources: Human Activity
Teach students the impact of human activity on the environment, the importance of populations and food chains, land use and management as well as urban development and population growth. Increase student understanding with the Water Use Project.
Dairy Products Production
Expose students to methods used in the production of various dairy products such as milk, butter, yogurt, ice cream and cheese. Have students use research to build and present knowledge with the Local Dairy Project.

Family and Consumer Sciences
Students will learn to identify and present the five basic themes of citizenship—honesty, compassion, respect, responsibility and courage. Enhance the five themes of citizenship and have students create a plan for how individuals can become better citizens with the Becoming a Better Citizen Project.

Students will learn about the Internet, its supporting technologies, its various uses, and discover tips and methods for researching and identifying possible risks associated with its use. Have students gain a better understanding of the topic with the Research the Research Project.
